I’m Cindy Anderson, and I am the owner of Strength for Living. I have been a strength trainer since 2002. I have seen the amazing difference that this program can have on your every day life. We have made this video to show you how it’s done and what to expect.
Traditionally, you could spend upwards of an hour at a noisy gym, full of mirrors and waiting for machines. You would do several sets of repeated exercises.
In our program, we perform only one set, extremely slowly, with as much weight that is safe for you, so that the muscles that are worked can reach fatigue in just one and a half to two minutes.
Muscle fatigue is crucial, because it triggers muscle growth during the rest periods. This is why once to twice a week for only 20 minutes is enough to see a real difference in your strength.
We focus on several muscle groups across five or six exercises, so that each muscle group reaches fatigue in only 20 minutes.
Our program is safe because there is low force on your joints, muscles and connective tissues. This will protect you from injury.
At Strength for Living we focus on your strength. We have no mirrors or music, it is just you and your trainer gaining your strength for living!
